Bulgarian Bulgarian Stuffed Peppers with Eggs and Cheese

Packed with savory scrambled eggs and delicious melted cheese, these hearty peppers are the perfect way to add some international flair to your meal.

Ingredients

  • 10 peppers
  • 1 lb Bulgarian white cheese
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • cup fresh parsley (chopped)
  • garlic cloves (optional) (minced)
  • 1 onion (optional) (diced)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350° F.
  • prepare the peppers by cutting of the top and remove any seeds.
  • Ina large bowl beat the eggs and mix them with the white cheese, along with spices and half of the fresh parsley.
  • Stuff each pepper with the mixture.
  • Graze a baking dish with oil or use a baking paper to cover the bottom and transfer the peppers into the baking dish.
  • You can cover the baking dish with a foil and cook the stuffed peppers for 20-25 minutes.
  • Remove the foil cover then continue to cook for another 10-15 minutes until peppers are ready.
  • Leave a side to cool a little then serve on a plate and sprinkle on top fresh parsley.
